The Pioneers hosted Cal-Maritime Keelhaulers at 12pm on a warm summer afternoon. The Pioneers were determined to get their 2nd conference win in a row with playoffs in mind.
The Pioneers started the game off strong with a goal from Jordan Baumback to make the score 1-0 in favor of the Pioneers. The Pioneers kept pushing and were able to get another goal, coming from Issay Bravo in the 37th minute to make it 2-0 before heading into halftime.
Daniel Castro would then make it 3-0 in the 57th minute to give the Pioneers a wide gap. The Keelhaulers would score a goal in the 71st minute to put pressure on the Pioneers. Issay Bravo would come up again to make it 4-1 just 5 minutes later. The final whistle blew, and the score would be 4-1, the Pioneers 2nd conference win in a row.
Gianluca Durso, Jordan Baumback, William Biondini, and Daniel Castro all had 1 shot on goal with Issay Bravo recording 5 shots on goal. Yellow cards were issued to Andres Becerra and Daniel Castro.
