MVB Slips in 2nd Home Stand

 In their second match of the weekend, the Pioneers played a thrilling match against the Dordt University Defenders, an NAIA-ranked school out of Iowa. Despite a hard fight from the Pioneers, the Defenders emerged victorious, winning three sets to one. One of the standout players for the Pioneers was Dakota Hrabowy, who had an impressive 20 kills and 10 digs with a 0.268 kill percentage. Hrabowy also managed to secure 2 service aces, showcasing his all-around abilities on the court. JT Kuderca followed close behind recording 18 kills with a 0.245 kill percentage and 9 digs. Defensively, Justin Vital had an outstanding game, recording 17 digs to help keep the Pioneers in the game. Meanwhile, Khalid Pal led in assists, racking up an impressive 47 throughout the game. Despite the loss, the Pioneers can hold their heads high, knowing that they gave it their all and fought hard until the very end.
