In their last match of the weekend, the Pioneers played an intense and closely contested match against the Westcliff University Warriors. The Pioneers started strong, winning the first two sets, but the Warriors fought back and ultimately came out on top in the fifth set. JT Kuderca once again led the team with 14 kills and 4 digs, displaying his powerful hitting and strong defensive abilities. Dakota Hrabowy had a solid game, recording 12 kills, 4 digs, and 1 service ace. Ethan Durns had an outstanding game for the Pioneers, recording 10 kills with the highest hitting percentage of the night at 0.364. Justin Vital was a key player for the Pioneers defensively, recording an impressive 14 digs. Khalid Pal racked up 42 assists, setting up his teammates with precise sets and creating opportunities for them to score. Despite the strong performances from these key players, the Pioneers were unable to hold off the Warriors in the final sets.
