Underclassmen Lead the Way

Underclassmen put on a show in the Pioneers' loss to Simpson University.

REDDING, Calif. - Women's Basketball (1-21; 1-11 Cal Pac) deficit in the third quarter lead to a victory for Simpson University (6-21; 4-8 Cal Pac).

Despite the loss, two pioneers scored in double digits.

With 17 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 rebounds, Jasmine Peete (SO/Riverside, CA) posted yet another double-double. Jasmine Peete is now tied with Victoria Aguilera for the most double-doubles in a season with 10.

Olivia Crigler (FR/Hebron, KY) also netted 11 points and 2 steals.

The Pioneers will return to the Covered Wagon for their final two contests of the 2019-2020 season. The Pioneers will host Benedictine University on Thursday, February 20th at 5:30 PM, followed by Embry-Riddle on Saturday, February 22nd at 7:00 PM.
