The Lady Pioneers hosted Menlo for their second bout of the season, hoping to get revenge from their previous 1-0 loss away from home.

The Pioneers played well and fought hard with goalkeeper Ava McInvale recording 7 saves and a goal by Olivia Jesse in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, the Oaks struck first and last with a goal from Menlo midfielder Angelica Soto and again in the 45th minute by Kori-Ann Koverman to finish the game 2-1. An unlucky result for the Pioneers but hope to come back stronger.

The Lady Pioneers will travel to Arizona to play Embry-Riddle on Friday, September 16th, and Benedictine Mesa on Sunday, September 18th to kick off their conference season.
